S'more Fun

It may not be chicken, but it's still finger lickin good
Having more fun than you can poke a sharp stick at
Connor and Evan had a fun time making s'mores, but I was a nervous wreck trying to keep them a safe distance from the fire ! When it got dark they tried to catch the sparks that flew in the air, crazy boys !!!

Yum !

Evan ate the berries as fast as he picked them!
Conner was not as eager at first since he tasted a not so ripe berry, made a face that was priceless, and unfortunately i didn't get a pic of. Once Nana gave him a plump ripe berry there was no stopping him and it was hard to get him to leave!

Blue at Last!

Finally blueberries are ready for picking and luckily I have my grandmother's recipe for cottage pudding.
The start of great things yet to come - mmm... the possibilities!

The net not only keeps out the birds, Evan can't keep seem to get his hands on them either!

Holiday Happenings

It was hard to entice the boys to open their gifts . The truck with its real radio and room for two was fun even though there was no room to drive it in the house! The excitement of children is what makes Christmas fun. The gingerbread house never got finished, but at least it stayed upright! Nana tested the washable markers on Connor and yes it did come off.

Nana's Little Man

Four years ago I was a Granny for Halloween and didn't need a costume! This cutie is sooo headstrong I'm glad I'm not Mom! He doesn't like to share with his little brother, but will wrestle which has resulted in a few banged heads.
